Pablo did a fantastic job. I originally came in for a tragus-to-conch industrial, but he suggested I get my tragus done first then come back for the conch and the bar. I wanted a piercing that could be done in the same day. Pablo took a look at my ear, and suggested a vertical conch industrial would look great on me. I had been considering this before too actually as my first choice, but was afraid of the pain as I’ve heard this is a rough piercing to get. He seemed very enthusiastic and happy to be doing a vertical conch industrial, so I went with it!
I knew I chose a good place when he showed me every single possible jewelry I could have before I made my decision. He was very thorough with showing me the options. This was a birthday present to myself so price wasn’t too big of a problem but I did still have a price range and he made sure to keep it in there. I also very much appreciate how he explained the process of autoclaving the jewelry first, emphasized washing his hands, using fresh needles, and wearing gloves. He was very precise in measuring my ear so he could figure out a good size bar to use that would accommodate for the swelling. When it came time to get the needle through my ear, he made sure that I was ready and counted to 3 as I was taking deep breaths so I felt calm and relaxed. It did hurt a whole lot but I’m so glad I toughened up and made it through, and with such a great piercer.
I’m so in love with my piercing. Overall Pablo was funny, nice, friendly and talkative so I felt at ease. Incredibly knowledgeable. I’d never seen someone get so excited about doing their job as a piercer before this. He was so happy to be doing this vertical conch industrial that his enthusiasm really stuck with me. Never going anywhere else or getting pierced by anybody else! 10/10, A+, 5 stars. Great job Pablo and The Exotic Body. I will definitely be coming back for more!
